William Robert Wosnitzer, Sr

William Robert Wosnitzer, Sr. 80, passed away April 9, 2021. Born in Newark to Wilbur and Irene Patrick Wosnitzer, he was a resident of Point Pleasant for the past 50 years. A graduate of St. Rose High School and Ocean County College, he was a retired Police Officer from Brielle Borough and later a Private Detective. Bill enjoyed reading, spending time with his dogs Max and Victor, working on antique clocks and cameras also working as an investigator right up until the day he passed. Bill is pre-deceased by his wife Mary Geraldine Wosnitzer in 2014. He is survived by his sons; William R. Wosnitzer Jr. (Linda) and Christopher E. Wosnitzer (Rebecca). Also surviving are his brothers Bobby and Johny Wosnitzer. His grandchildren; Ryan, Thomas, Kristin, Will, Giovanni and great grandchild Adelynn.
