William M. Lacour

William "Uncle Bill" LaCour 80, born on January 12, 1936 in Tiffion, Ohio, passed away on Friday October 14, 2016 at the age of 80 in Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Uncle Bill was predeceased by his loving parents, Charles and Orpha. Uncle Bill was one of eight children who also all went before him. Shirley Ann, Charles III, Robert, Harry David, James, Patricia, and Dean. The family is well known in the Wall Township area where they lived most of their lives and West Belmar where Uncle Bill has lived the last 40 years. Although Uncle Bill did not have any children of his own he has watched multiple generations of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews grow and continue on his family name and traditions. He has been like a second father and grandfather to his niece Shirley Barraud, her husband Wayne Barraud and their 3 children, Grace Malloy, Mark Seymour, and Joseph Barraud. Holiday dinners will never be the same without Uncle Bill yelling for the mashed potatoes. When he wasn't at Shirley's house you could find him at home playing his favorite Wii game drinking a cup of coffee. Uncle Bill loved his family and would bring out his old photo albums any chance he got. He could tell you who everybody was, their birthdays, where and when the photo was taken and of course every thing there is to know about the car in the picture. At Uncle Bill's request he is being cremated and buried in a family plot at Atlantic View Cemetery in Manasquan, with no service. The Family would like to thank Care One in Wall and Jersey Shore University Medical Center for taking amazing care of their beloved Uncle. The amount of kindness and patience is unfathomable and so very appreciated.
