William Joseph Kelly, 57, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 8th at home.
He was born in Jersey City where he spent some his childhood before moving to the Jersey Shore at the age of ten.
He was employed as an insulator with Local 12 New York City for many years.
William, better known to his family and friends as Bill or Billy, was a true family man who enjoyed spending time with his two boys, Liam, 14 and Devon 11. Whenever he spoke about his children his eyes would light up and he beamed with pride. He was always excited to watch them playing recreational sports and some of his happiest moments were coaching their teams in the Neptune Little League. He considered his boys to be his reason for living and anyone who knew him could feel the unconditional love he had for each of them.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Patricia Kelly. He is survived by his sons Liam and Devon as well as his two sisters, Mary Mackay (Richard), and Beth Kelly and his five brothers, Richard (Dorothy), Peter (Nancy), Robert (Karen), John (Cindy) and Anthony (Jackie) Kelly.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass will be offered, 10:00am, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary R.C. Church, Avon-by-the-Sea.
Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation Service, 36 Broad Street, Manasquan, NJ.
