William John Chapman

William John Chapman, 79 of Ocean Grove, passed away September 9, 2022 after a long illness. Bill was born on July 12,1943 in Jersey City he lived most of his life at the Jersey Shore. He graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange, where he attained a BA in Social Studies and MA in Psychology. After graduation from Seton Hall, Bill served in the US Army from 1965 to 1971. He was a Lieutenant/Military Police followed by 4 years of Army Reserves. Bill worked in the insurance industry most of his adult life. He was also primary owner of Data Comm Solutions in NYC in the late 1980’s. He is survived by one son, Michael B. Chapman, of Belmar. A private funeral service is planned for immediate family and friends at the Bg.General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
