Wayne Havens Applegate, Sr.

Wayne Havens Applegate Sr. (81) (AKA Pop) passed away August 7, 2015. He was born and raised in Bay Head, where he worked as a master carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Ch. in Bay Head. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America in Bay Head as a Scout Master for 17 years. He was a life member of the Bay Head Volunteer Fire Company. He was predeceased by his first wife June Rush. Surviving is his second wife June Heddle Applegate, his son Wayne H. Applegate Jr. and his wife Sharon; his daughter Debbi June Mayer and her husband Peter Mayer III; his grandchildren, Wayne H. Applegate III, Shelly Applegate, Sandy Applegate, Charles H. Malloy II and fiancé Sahndyll Claire and Peter Mayer IV; his great grandchildren; Kayla June Malloy and was looking forward to an addition to the family and many extended family. A Memorial Service will be held 10: A.M. Saturday, August 22nd. at St Paul's United Methodist Church, Bay Head
