Walter Bowles

Walter Bowles, age 50, departed this life on January 30, 2018, at his home in Long Branch. He was born in Long Branch on December 4, 1967 to Mary L. Bowles and Oscar Crosby. Walter was born with Down Syndrome and had a passion for pro wrestling. He will be remembered lovingly as, "Smooch". He had a kind and gentle heart, and always greeted everyone with a big hello and smile. He was predeceased by his father, Oscar Crosby and his brother, Michael A. Bowles, Sr., October 18, 2010. He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Bowles, his brother Bryan E. Bowles, Sr. of Burkville, VA and a sister, Kimberly O. Crosby of West Long Branch, NJ. He is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no public service. Respectfully, the family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made payable to ARC of Monmouth. Funeral services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation Service, 36 Broad Street, Manasquan, NJ.
