Walter Billick

Walter Billick 94, passed peacefully at home on June 18, 2018 surrounded by his wife, daughter and care giver. Born and raised in Linden he resided in Point Pleasant for the past 46 years. Graduated from Linden High School in 1941, he joined the U.S. Marines in 1942 and served his country for three and a half years. He worked several jobs before he started his own electrical business in his parents garage and was later joined by his friend and formed Baron & Billick Electrical Contractors in Linden which grew to be an extremely successful company. Several years later his partner retired and his sons, Dennis and Clifford joined him and they formed Billick and Sons. He was also partners with his wife in Bay Head where they ran Frans Deli and maintains the Bridge Ave property to this day. He retired in 1991 and continued to work part time while enjoying boating, his home, family and friends. Walter is predeceased by his son Dennis Billick. He is survived by his wife Mary Billick, son Clifford & Fran Billick, daughter Fran Antonucci, granddaughters Lena Billick, Tara and Micah Hale and great granddaughters Maile and Liberty Hale.
