Suzanne Castineira Morrell

A much loved wife, mother, daughter and friend. Suzanne Castineira Morrell, 43 of Jackson NJ has passed away peacefully after her two year battle with Cancer. Her husband and father were at her side. Suzanne was born in NY, NY to Jose and Emma (Seba) Castineira. Spending her childhood in Key Port NJ and Queens NY she eventually moved to Jackson with her mother and stepfather Stanley Pietrowicz. It is here that she would meet her best friend and future husband Jaime; together they would navigate the next 30 years. A graduate of Jackson Memorial High school, she would follow her love and pursue a career as a gymnastics coach. Suzanne had a passion for teaching and filled her classes with a love and joy of gymnastics. She was also a certified Yoga instructor and avid crossfitter. Most mornings you would find her at the gym, working out with friends in a community she’d grown to love. She was compassionate, independent, spontaneous, quirky and courageous; with an underlying flair of elegance and grace. A true individual and one of a kind. A beloved daughter and wife; a mother of two beautiful children whom she loved dearly. A friend to all who met her. There will be fond memories of summer days spent at the beach, car rides filled with singing, music, dancing, and laughing. Suzanne is survived by her father Pepe (Jose) Castineira and mother Emma Seba, her stepfather Stanley Pietrowicz; husband Jaime, her two children, Jasper and Beatrix, and several uncles, aunts and cousins. Suzanne will be cremated at Liberty Grove Memorial Gardens in Old Brigde NJ with a memorial planned in the months to come where friends and family can come together to celebrate her life.
