Sue lived on the Jersey shore for over 40 years. She was born in Montclair, NJ and spoke often of her fun childhood with her brothers and memorable summers spent on Shelter Island, NY. She loved to sail, play tennis, spend time at any body of water, and tend to her gardens. Her enjoyment of football and golf was legendary, as was the affection she felt for black labs and the music of Streisand and Sinatra. A private celebration of Sue’s life will be held in January. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sue’s memory to the Shelter Island Historical Society (call 631-749-0025 and ask for Alexandra).
