Shirley D. Cohn

Shirley Darlene Cohn died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Manor by the Sea in Ocean Grove. Shirley worked many years as a waitress and bartender at Maria's in Manasquan and many other shore establishments. She loved her family, friends and the Green Bay Packers. She was loved by all who knew her. Shirley is survived by her beloved friend Chester H. Pownall Sr. Her stepchildren, Dale Pownall, Chester H. Pownall Jr. and his wife Penny, Paul Pownall and his wife Lois. Her grandchildren; Chester III, Carin, Shana, Khalil, Andrew and Marissa, her great grandchildren Julian, Cullen and Isabella, also many nieces, nephews and friends. Shirley will be laid to rest privately in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
