Shirley Blanton

Blanton, Mrs. Shirley Estelle Caldwell Of Chicago went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Shirley was born in Greensboro, NC and after graduating from Winston Salem University she moved to Chicago, Illinois where she met and married the love of her life Lewis Blanton. She worked in Chicago as a nurse in medical surgical, as an instructor in Neurological nursing, and later as a public health nurse. She retired in 1994. Shirley leaves behind a brother, sister-in-law, sister, nieces, nephews, and many more beloved family members and friends. Her services will be held at The Allegria at Ocean Grove, 70 Stockton Ave., Ocean Grove, NJ, Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation Service, 36 Broad Street, Manasquan.
