Scott Wesley Rogers

Scott Wesley Rogers, age 66 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.


Scott was born and raised in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey. He was a 1974 graduate of Manasquan High School. Scott was Vice president of Charles W, Rogers & Son Inc., Manasquan. When he was younger, he was very much involved in The Boy Scouts of America, troop #69 in Spring Lake Heights. He received many awards, achieving the rank of Eagle with a Bronze palm and God & Country, Scott was a member of Order of Arrow Dance Team, and attended Philmont Scout Reservation. Later he worked with the Sea Scouts, and operated a Monarch Butterfly Waystation #03424.


Scott was predeceased by his parents, Sandra & Charles (Bud) W. Rogers Jr, and nephew Colin Frye. He is survived by his children Sarah Fischler, Jessica Cook and Zachary Rogers and 6 grandchildren, his loving sisters Tina Rogers and Heidi Frye, niece Rebecca Frye and great niece Kaylee Stafford. He also leaves behind two Aunts and an Uncle, many cousins and friends and his partner Susan Araneo.


Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday April 22, 2023 11am at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 907 Fourth Ave. Spring Lake NJ 07762. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Scotts’ name to St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.
