Sandra L. Mcgavin

Sandra L. McGavin, 72, of Red Bank, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday March 8, 2015 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born October 5, 1942 in Red Bank, she had a long successful career as a registered nurse for the State of New Jersey. Sandra's greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren and enjoying her retirement years with her beloved dog Mickey. She was predeceased by her parents Adelaide and John Connor. Surviving are her children, Patrick McGavin and his wife Tracy of Highlands, Scott McGavin and his wife Teddy of Port Monmouth and Kelly Klemroth and her husband Scott of Carlsbad, CA, her brother Richard Connor and his wife, Rita of Rumson, her grandchildren Shannon and Ann McGavin and Andrew, Kyle and Patrick Klemroth, a nephew Ian Connor, and a niece Kate Desiere, both of Leonardo and her best friend and cousin Joan Emerick. The family is having a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sandra's name to The National Kidney Foundation, Inc. 30 East 33rd Street New York, NY 10016.
