Sandra Marie Dawson

Sandra M. Dawson, 55, of Hampton, NJ lost her battle with cancer on May 5, 2025.

Sandra was a kind-hearted spiritual woman who worked at UMDNJ as a Senior Lab Animal Care Technician for over 23 years. Semi-retired Sandra also enjoyed singing karaoke, and spending time with family and friends. Her love for the outdoors and local wildlife was paramount. You could always find her tending to the deer and rabbits in the yard. She would often visit the local farms to spend time with a variety of animals, smiling as she showed her love for them.

Reunited in Heaven, Sandra is the daughter of Mary L. Dawson and William A. Dawson (both pre-deceased).

Survived by her fiancé Jerry Ference, her sister Denise Northup and brother in law Craig Northup, brothers William Dawson Jr, and Harry Dawson, her niece Heather Bear, and nephews Thomas Gilmartin, and Timothy Gilmartin, nephew Logan Dawson, niece Cassidy Dawson. Several more extended family that she had enjoyed spending time with during holidays and get-togethers.

Sandra will be missed by many and live on throughout all of our memories.
