Roy A. Stack, of Jackson, NJ, passed away on November 14, 2017, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. He was born on May 26, 1953, in Oceanside, NY, the son of Anthony J. Stack and Anna Dadura.
He leaves his beloved wife Ruth of 38 years, a daughter Dariel and her fianc Jesse Goldbaum of Rockaway, NJ; a son Timothy of Jackson, NJ; and an adopted daughter Veronica and her husband, Jeffrey Floyd, of Brick, NJ; three grandsons, Owen Goldbaum of Rockaway, NJ and Robbie and Jacob Floyd of Brick, NJ.
Roy was a 10-year retiree of South Huntington School System in Long Island, but took a leap of faith by working with his father as an installer in NYC for Western Electric in 1981. Still preferring to follow his own dreams, he secured a job in production support in 1996 for AT&T. As his technical expertise grew he worked for IBM as a senior IT Specialist in 2000. He retired early to enjoy his family, friends and numerous hobbies. His love of woodworking, gardening, motorcycling and hockey were evident throughout his life.
