Brick Township, NJ

Ronita “Ronnie” Louise Herzer of Brick, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026.

Ronnie was born in Denver, Colorado, and spent much of her early life traveling the world with her mother, brother, and father, Lt. Longworth, who proudly served in the United States Army. After her family’s travels, she eventually settled in New Jersey, where Ronnie built a life rooted in faith, family, and service.

She was a loving and devoted mother to four children, a cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren, and a proud great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest blessing and joy.

A devout Christian and faithful servant of the Lord, Ronnie lived her life guided by unwavering faith. She was a true prayer warrior who dedicated herself to spreading God’s Word and living as an example of His love and grace.

Ronnie had such a caring spirit that never ceased and spent her life serving and helping anyone in need, embodying compassion and selflessness in all she did.

Her legacy of faith, love, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Psalm 91:1-2: "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"
