Robert "Martin" Shelton

Robert "Martin" Shelton, 57, of Spring Lake, NJ, a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend passed away April 10, 2021. Born May 28, 1963 in Leesburg, Virginia, he was predeceased by his father, Kenneth O. Shelton. He is survived by his daughter Loren Marie (Wade Palmer), daughter Virginia (John Ryan Fry), and sons James B. Shelton and John R. Shelton. Also survived by his grandchildren John Ryan Fry, Jr. and Charleigh Rabon Fry, former wife and mother of his children, Lori Rabon, mother Joan Bryant Shelton and siblings Virginia (Joe Nochera), Kenneth Shelton (Ande), and Sarah (John Barnard), as well as 4 nieces and a nephew. A graduate of Loudoun County High School and Old Dominion University, Martin had a long career as Executive Director of Construction for PJR Construction in Freehold, NJ. He enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends at the Jersey Shore. Private services will be held at a later time in Chatham, Virginia.
