Robert C. Semas

Robert C. Semas, a resident of Belmar for the last 45 years passed away April 25 after a lengthy illness, he was 71. Robert was born in Paterson, N.J., attended Paterson Central High School where he was a member of the All-State Band in 1961. He attended Newark Rutgers University and N.Y.U., and after completion of his studies moved to Sea Girt. From 1969 until 2010 he was a bartender for two Jersey Shore institutions Kelly's Tavern in Neptune City and Jack's Tavern in Belmar. A private memorial service will be held.
