Richard Salvatore Jr., 66, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, at Crest Pointe Rehabilitation in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.

Richard Salvatore was born on April 8, 1960, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Richard and Genevive Salvatore. He pursued a career as a Boilermaker, and he retired after about 35 years.

Some of his favorite things in life were the simple ones: a good cup of coffee and cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs.

He was a loving father to Christopher and Madelyn Salvatore, and brother to Theresa Mataras Wolkwitz, Judy Formichella, and Laura Zecca.

Richard, at his request, was cremated with no services to be held.

Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his children, siblings, and friends.
