Richard Gordan Haith

July 27, 1937 — September 19, 2024

Richard Gordan Haith, 87, of Wall Township, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 19th, 2024.

Richard was born on July 27,1937 in Cherry Valley, New York. He graduated from Cherry Valley High School and was a star basketball player. Richard served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. “Once a Marine, always a Marine.” He was an avid golfer and nothing made him happier than to play with his golf buddies as well as Mark and Logan. His Pocono team outings were always a hit. When he was 75 he shot a 75! He was very proud of that. He loved to dance and would be one of the first on the dance floor. He completed the NY Post crossword puzzle everyday. He was a caring man who gave back to his community, volunteering to drive seniors to appointments and the store. A past Rotarian who contributed to many fundraisers.

He adored his sister Jackie and spent so many fun times with her at her Lake George home. So many great memories listening and singing in the back yard to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra and other artists with his beloved granddaughter Olivia and two grandsons Lawton and Logan. Olivia and PopPop were always ready for a good road trip wherever Olivia told him to go!

Richard was loved by so many and was such a gentleman who was known for being a sharp dressed man. He was kind and caring. He had many friends but in his heart was first his daughter Paige, son Kenny, granddaughter Olivia and grandsons Lawton and Logan.

Richard was a beloved father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will forever be missed but never forgotten.

Richard Haith is survived by his daughter, Paige Morro and son-in law, Mark Morro, sister, Jacquelin Anthony, grandsons, Lawton Morro and Logan Morro, nieces, Margaret Gregory and Leslie LaGuardia, and his nephews, Christopher LaGuardia and David LaGurdia.

He is predeceased by son, Kenny Haith, parents, Elizabeth and Kenneth Haith and granddaughter, Olivia Morro.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
