Prima "Mary" Blakus-Clauburg
Age 84 of Wall Township
Passed away Monday, November 21, 2016. Mary was born in Newark and grew up in Jersey City. Went on to attend Seton Hall Nursing School and enjoyed a 35 year career as an RN and Private Duty Nurse. Took a break from nursing to become one of the first women stock brokers on Wall Street back in the early 70's and enjoyed much success. Besides her family, she dedicated her entire life and had great passion for the social and political reform of our country. Her main causes were the homeless of our country and the needless violence and war that our country led us into. For many, she was a true inspiration.
Her family was a source of great joy for her. She married Walter Clauburg and had five children. She is survived by her daughters Cathy York and Elizabeth Clauburg. Her sons Robert Clauburg, Mark Clauburg and Eric Clauburg of Wall Twp., Her grandchildren Mark Clauburg Jr and wife Nicole, Krissy Hayes and her husband Brian, Rebecca Clauburg, Eric, Kellen and Maci. Her great grandchildren Colin, Avery, Brian, Marissa and Aiden. Mary's love for her family was undying. May she rest in peace and God Bless her.
