Peter L. Glide

Peter L. Glide passed away peacefully on October 28, 2019 at Tower Lodge Care Center, Wall, N.J... A Vietnam veteran, he served his country proudly. He graduated from Plainfield High School and than attended Milligan College, Tennessee where he earned his degree. He worked as a Manager for many years in the family business, Savary and Glasier, steel fabricators in Middlesex NJ, He later worked for Laird's distillery in Colts Neck, NJ, where he was a chemist making the many liquors they sold. He enjoyed Singer Island Florida and fluke and off shore fishing was his passion, with his close friends. He is survived by his brother, David V. Glide and his wife Linda J. Glide, a niece, Lisa Glide and nephew Derek Glide, cousins Sue and Carol. A graveside service will take place in several weeks for family and friends..A special thanks to the friendly loving staff at Tower Lodge for the excellent care they provided...
