Peggy Rubin

Margaret Mary "Peggie" Kysel/Venn/Rubin, 64, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 after valiantly fighting cancer for the past year. She has been called home to be with her beloved Nana and Pupup Conover. A current resident of Lakewood. Margaret was born on June 18, 1950, in Glen Ridge, NJ. She lived most of her life in River Edge, where she graduated from River Dell High School, class of 1968. Margaret was a kind, giving, and eccentric spirit. She greatly enjoyed the company of her family and friends, as well as hosting gatherings at her home. Margaret's greatest passions in life included her love for the New Jersey shore and taking care of her dogs and cats. Margaret had a robust educational background, having received her undergraduate degree from William Patterson University and Masters Degrees from both Long Island University and Georgian Court University, all concentrated in education. She utilized this expertise while working with young children in the NJ Public School system for over twenty years. Margaret is survived by her loving parents, Ruth and Joseph Kysel; her sons, Christopher Venn, Joseph Venn and his wife Monica, her grandchildren, Jack and Samantha Venn; her brother, Drew Kysel, his daughter Elizabeth; her brother, Paul Kysel and his wife Kristine, their son, Ian and his wife Bryn, and their daughter, Emma and her fiancé Mike Clust. A life celebration in Margaret's honor will be held at a later date this fall.
