Paul Kellogg "Kelly" Kiefer

Paul Kellogg “Kelly” Kiefer passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the age of 76 after a brief illness. Kelly was a devoted husband; a dutiful, loving father and grandfather; and resolute brother and friend. He worked in logistics for BASF for more than 25 years prior to his retirement to the Jersey Shore. Upon retirement, he enjoyed spending his days with his family while also serving as treasurer of the Allaire Country Club Estates Homeowner’s Association as well as President of his local Contract Bridge Club.

From the late 1960’s Kelly attended hundreds of concerts, and he instilled in his family a love and appreciation of music of all genres. He had a genius for friendship and a great capacity for hard work. He also had a love of food, drink, and good company. He was known for his great sense of humor, an unerring sense of right and wrong, a kind heart, and a generous spirit. He could (and would) strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, at any time, and went out of his way to be kind to all.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Marcia, his daughter Alyssa and son-in-law Eric Yang, his son Adam Kiefer and daughter-in-law Joanna Thomas, three grandchildren, and brothers Jay (Mary) and Bryan (Nancy) Kiefer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
