Pat was very active, playing softball and golf in local leagues for most of his life with many of his pals. He enjoyed reading, going to the beach each year in Manasquan, N.J., with his family, and the many trips taken to Aruba with his wife.
Pat will be incredibly missed by his loving wife, Corene (Baron-Hunt) Garvey; his three children, Ryan Garvey and wife Shelley Langan, Gregory Garvey, and Alison Cook and husband Jim, who were honored to have him as a father without equal; his two stepchildren, Leah Hunt-Duro and husband Alfonso, and William Hunt; his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Geri Garvey, and his nephew, Cliff Garvey. Pat was a doting grandfather ("Poppy") to his six grandchildren, Aidan and Sierra Hunt, Riley and Griffin Cook, Lola Duro, and Shae Garvey.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation to Zero-The End of Prostate Cancer, www.zerodiyfundraising.org/tribute/prg.
