Patricia Kempton

Patricia Kempton, 83, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Church services will be held Friday, May 14th , 2021 at 11AM at Saint Martha’s Church in Point Pleasant and Interment will be at Saint Catharine’s Cemetery in Sea Girt directly after. Pat was born and raised in New York City to Margaret Coogan and Cashmere Bonzulak. She was a first generation American who loved playing basketball and dancing. Her family moved to Dumont, NJ and eventually Pat moved to Point Pleasant where she has lived for the past 40 years. She loved going to the beach with her family and friends. Congregating with the later at the Bluffs in Bay Head for a weekend refreshment or to watch a Giants game. She also enjoyed doing a scratch off or 2 and having a glass of wine at home with her beloved cats. Pat is survived by her loving children, Shawn Kempton, Cheryl Kempton and son-in-law John Clear. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Brent Kempton, Cassidy Kempton and Caleb Kempton. She is also survived by her brother, Bill Bonzulak and her dear friends.
