Patricia A. Dunkin

September 19, 1944 — February 14, 2017

Patricia K. Dunkin (nee Kazimir) was born 9/19/44 in Old Bridge, NJ and called by God on 2/14/17. She was pre-deceased by her true love William S. (Bill) Dunkin and mother Catherine Kazimir. After growing up on a farm in Old Bridge, she lived in Metuchen. A desire to explore the beauty of the earth moved Pat and Bill to Franklin, NC. Love of family called them back to Jackson before Pat settled in Toms River 3 years ago. Pat was a graduate of Douglass College and the New Seminary for Interfaith Studies in NY. She gave back through her work with Al-Anon World Service Organization. She was an ordained Unity Minister, a Reiki Master and certified massage therapist. Her commitment to God's love led her to share her faith as a Board Member and Chaplain at Unity by the Shore church (Prayer Pat). Pat found fellowship with her Friday Angels for many years and loved their closeness. She is survived by her children, Donna Farren (Ronnie Zammit) and Robert (Karen) Harbison as well as her sister Jeanne and brothers Jimmy, Randy and Tommy Kazimir. Also surviving are her “bonus” daughters Patricia Dunkin, Robin Dunkin-Chadwick (Don), Linda Sheehan (Leo), Heather Brambilla (Stephen) and Carol Dunkin, as well as her grandchildren, Ryan, Colin and Erin Harbison, Christopher, Daniel and Michael Sheehan, Scott Chadwick, Eli (Sarah) and Michael Brambilla and Nikolai Ratzkovich. She also leaves many devoted, loving and caring friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held at Noon this Saturday, February 18th at Unity by the Shore, 3508 Asbury Ave., Neptune, NJ, with visitation starting at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to Unity by the Shore ministry in Pat’s memory.
