Pamela Ann Wilkinson 65 of Middletown, NJ, passed away peacefully in her home alongside her loving family on April 5th, 2025.
Pam was born March 12th, 1960, in Staten Island, New York to Don & Mary Ann Wilkinson. Pamela was a devoted daughter who loved her parents unconditionally. Pam was a friendly, free-spirited, fun-loving person ever since she was a little girl. Her beautiful smile would light up any room she walked in. Pam loved life! She was most happy on the beach, listening to music and hosting family gatherings. She was known for her amazing cooking. Above all, family was the most important part of her life.
Pam graduated Beth Israel Nursing School in 1981 and spent her lifetime caring and healing others. She started her nursing career in Staten Island Hospital and then went on to Riverview Medical Center, Jersey Shore Medical Center and ended her career at the VNA (Visiting Nurses Association of Monmouth County, NJ). She truly loved her patients and wasa dedicated nurse to their patients and their families.
Pam was a wonderful and loving wife to her husband John Fiore; they were married for 40 years and together for 51 years. Pamela was an adoring mother to her daughter Jessica Fiore and son-in-law Gustavo Perez (and his loving family). Pam is also survived by her brother Jeffrey (Suzanne), nephews Dylan (Theresa), Justin (Alexis), Corey (Lexi) and great-nephew Lucas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Elaine LaPorta and nephews Paul (Stacy) and Anthony (Laurie) and their children. Pamela was predeceased by her father Don Wilkinson, brother-in-law Anthony LaPorta and her dear Aunt Em.
Pam will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.Her memory and love she shared will live on in our hearts forever.
Pamela’s choice was to be cremated. Her family is having a small personal service at their home along with a celebration of life.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Wong and her team at Memorial Sloan Kettering and the VNA (Visiting Nurses Association of Monmouth County, NJ) for their compassionate care and support to Pam and her family.
In lieu of flowers, Pamela and her family request donations to “Konscious Youth Development & Services” (KYDS) and/or “St. Jude Research Hospital"
Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
