Norma P. Newman

Norma P. Newman 90 of Lake Como passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Norma was born in Melbourne, FL and was raised in Manasquan and Brielle. She is a graduate of Manasquan High School and a 1945 graduate of Trenton State Teachers College. Norma worked at the Belmar Elementary School from her student teaching until her retirement in 1989. She enjoyed RV camping, reading and gardening. Norma was predeceased by her parents; Maude Bills and Charles D. Patterson of Howell, her brother Robert G. Patterson of Point Pleasant and an infant daughter Patricia Ann . She is survived by her daughter, Michele Newman of Lake Como, a brother Charles W. Patterson of Manasquan and several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
