Michael J Wilson-Spivak

July 17, 1989 — April 20, 2024

Michael J Wilson-Spivak, born on July 17, 1989, in Long Branch, NJ, passed away on April 20, 2024, at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, at the age of 34 surrounded by family and loved ones.


Michael was passionate about many things, especially his love for rocks, crystals elephant jewelry and artifacts. He had many collections, baseball caps, team jerseys from his favorite players and teams. He was also all about fashion and had collected many shoes and more shoes, hats, and actually an abundance of everything. He loved his clothes and always matched head to toe. Michael was spiritual, he was kind, witty, fun to be around and generous with his time and possessions. His bright smile lit up any room he entered.


He was special from the day he was born; he fought for his life at birth as a preemie at 1lb 14oz.and fought for his life at the end. He received his AA degree in Human Services from Harcum College, Bryn Mawr, PA, where he was on the Dean’s List and inducted into the Honor Society. His Harcum professors spoke so well of his contributions to their classes and the student body. Michael continued his education at San Diego State University majoring in Psychology.


Michael found great success in technology sales, where his passion for selling and customer support shone through, earning him numerous accolades from his customers. During his career, he rose to management positions in his field.


He was an avid NY Giants fan and a season ticket holder. He was also a huge LA Lakers basketball fan. He also enjoyed playing recreational basketball.


Michael will be deeply missed by his mother, Esther L. Spivak, Belmar. And all those who knew and loved him. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Wilson III, Asbury Park, his paternal grandfather Robert F. Wilson II (Pommy)), Asbury Park, his paternal grandmother Naomi Hultin Wilson, Asbury Park, his maternal uncle, Simon F. Spivak of Coral Springs, FL, and his maternal grandparents Beatrice and Joseph Spivak of Paterson, NJ. Michael is survived by his Aunt Hilary Gearity, Fayetteville, NY, cousins Kelly Nichols, NY, Connie Hannon, NY and Meridith Hannon, NY.


Contributions in memory of Michael Wilson-Spivak can be made to Tunnel2Towers or St. Jude Children's Hospital.


His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.


Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
