Michael McFree (Hanft) of Long Branch, formerly Santa Monica, CA, and Woodstock, NY died Sunday, on his birthday, at the age of 82. Mickey was a graduate of The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA.
His professional life included working at the William Morris Agency, NYC, as executive agent to the stars, writer for the Michael Douglas Show, The Merv Griffin Show, The Match Game and many others.
His passion was painting fine art. He will be sadly missed by staff and friends at Beacon of Light, Oceanport, NJ. Especially missed by his niece Marilyn Schwertberger who will no longer hear all of the celebrity anecdotes and his brilliant sense of humor.
