Megan Hessinger Waldron, 51, passed away at home on Nov. 22, 2013, surrounded by her family. Megan grew up in Holmdel and raised her children in Keyport. She is a graduate of Holmdel High School and received her LPN License from Monmouth Vocational. She worked for many years at Bayshore Community Hospital.
Megan was a loving mother who put her family before all else. Megan will be remembered as a beautiful soul with a huge sense of humor and fighting spirit. She was very involved with Girl Scouts throughout her life as a participant as well as a leader. Megan worked to instill the values she learned as a Girl Scout in her children, especially her love of camp songs!
Megan is survived by her beloved children: Kaes, Aaron and Caileen. Also surviving are her Mother, Virginia Hessinger and siblings: Michelle Sarama and her husband Bill, Ken Hessinger and his wife Pat, Drew Hessinger and wife Kathy, Kathy Hessinger, Robert Hessinger and his wife Mary as well as loving nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. Megan was predeceased by her Father, John Hessinger.
