Maryann Sblendido

Maryann Sblendido (Costello) 84, of Manalapan, New Jersey passed away on January 16, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Manhattan to Mary and Nicholas Costello, she was an only child. In her younger years as a single mom she was an Executive Secretary at Continental Insurance Company for many years before retiring. She then volunteered at Regional Medical Center in New Port Ritchie, Florida where she resided for 10 years before moving to New Jersey.

Maryann will be remembered by her loving family as a foodie and lover of a great snack, cheese being her favorite. She would enjoy all her favorites while watching Food Network, many genre of movies, binging Netflix and she was one of BOTB biggest fans.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Pace (Eugene) and Frank (JoAnne), as well as three granddaughters, Jennifer Hefferan, Samantha and Danielle Sblendido; and four great grandchildren, Eden, Eve, Kalani and Valentino.

At Maryann’s request, she will be cremated privately, with no visitation or mass. To keep her in remembrance her family asks, if inclined to do so, that donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
