Maryann, 85, of Farmingdale, New Jersey, passed away peacefully holding the hands of her Daughter and Son in Law, after a courageous second battle with cancer. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maryann’s greatest joy in life was her family.
Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Maryann later made her home in Farmingdale, New Jersey, where she created a life centered around love, tradition, faith and family. She was predeceased by her parents Josephine and Giuseppe, her beloved sister, Angelina; and many cherished cousins and dear friends.
She is survived by her loving daughter, DeńeenMarie Kennedy (née Ranieri), and son-in-law, Kevin Kennedy; her beloved granddaughter, Alexa, and her husband, Stephano; her beloved grandson, Grant; the true lights of her life, her great-grandchildren, Angelina and Giovanni, and her brother-in-law Charles Zahn.
Maryann treasured time spent with her family, especially summers down the shore surrounded by loved ones. Nothing brought her greater happiness than watching her great-grandchildren grow. She also shared an incredibly special bond with her first cousins, whom she considered brothers and sisters, loving each of them deeply throughout her life.
Maryann will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, her unwavering devotion to her family, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved her.
We are grateful for the exceptional care she received from her RWJ radiation and oncology teams and the Hackensack Meridian home care and hospice nurses and aides.
in lieu of flowers please make a donation in Maryann F. Gullace name to the Associated Humane Societies ahs.givecloud.co/tribute , as animals were so important to her.
