Mary A. Raney - Manasquan

Mary A. Raney, 81 of Manasquan passed away on April 30, 2013 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Mary was born in Manhattan, but her parents quickly returned to their home in Currygranny, Longford, Ireland. Mary was rasied in Ireland and returnrd to the USA when she turned 18. She came over on a ship by herself, and kept that tenacious spirit all of her life. She married Robert Raney and had four children; Veronica, Brian, Bob and Noreen. Mary spent most of her life living in Howell, NJ. Her home was always full of family and friends. She worked at Paul Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood for 25 years. Mary is predeceased by her husband Robert (1997). She is survived by her daughter Veronica and her husband Robert Flannery, son Brian and his wife Barbara, son Bob and his fiance Gabby Leflore, and daughter Noreen and her husband Sal Merkel. she is also survived by 11 grandchildren. A funeral mass will be offered 11 AM Saturday, May 11, 2013 at St. denis Catholic Church, Manasquan, Interment will be private.
