Martha E. Colangelo

Martha E. Colangelo, 93, of Colts Neck, NJ passed away on December 11, 2024. Martha was born on June 28, 1931 in Havana, Cuba. She escaped communism and came to America, where she settled in Brooklyn, NY. She went on to meet her husband Angelo and together they raised two children Anita & Bobby Colangelo.

Martha loved animals, painting, music, dancing and laughing. She had a tremendous faith in God and in her new country. She instilled those two important beliefs into her children, always letting them know how important freedom and liberty was.

Martha is predeceased by her parents Ana Maria and Francisco Botifoll, her brothers Raul, Juan, and Ernesto Botifoll. She is survived by her children Anita Bonacci and her husband Michael, Robert Colangelo and his wife Christine, grandchildren DeAnna Meo and her husband Chris, Michael Bonacci, and Joseph Colangelo, and nieces and nephews Silvia, Raul Jr., Carlos, Lourdes, Ernesto Jr., Frank, Ana Maria, Daisy, Alan, and Bobby.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:15am on Tuesday, December 17th, at St. Leo the Great, 50 Hurleys Lane, Lincroft, NJ.

Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan.
