Marion T. Eschner

Marion T. Eschner (Behrens), 87, of Eatontown, NJ passed away on January 20, 2021 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 5, 1933. Marion was a long time resident of 23 years at Jersey Shore Center in Eatontown, where she made many friends. During the day you would find her drinking coffee, reading the newspaper and doing crossword puzzles. She was President of the Resident Council and enjoyed participating in bingo, ice cream socials, lunch trips and entertainment (especially Joey who called her his manager). Marion was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who treasured her family and holiday gatherings. Predeceased by her sons Henry, Robert, Dana, Alan, Fred, George and Matthew. Survived by her two daughters Linda Vitrano, Neptune and Tina Eschner, Florida; three sons Ted (Rose), PA, David (Mindy), VA, Douglas (Cindy), Neptune; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Cara, Mark, Jessica, Brian and Eric; eight great-grandchildren, Aveena, Kayla, Julia, Mackenzie, Jonah, Ayla, Aiden, Jaxson, and loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Jersey Shore Center for all their exceptional care and compassion throughout the years. She will always be remembered and may she rest in peace. Due to Covid the Celebration of life for Marion and Matthew will be in May 2021.
