Marilyn C. Gorman, of Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls, passed away on June 18, at 90 years of age. She was predeceased by her parents Gladys Seaman and Wallace W. Colby, and husband Edward F. Gorman.
Raised in Westfield, NJ, graduated from Westfield H.S. Class of 46: graduated from State Teachers College at Trenton in 1950. Began her teaching career in Bradley Beach and retired in 1990 from Holmdel School System.
She and Ed lived in Holmdel and moved to Ocean Grove in 1988. Active in Ocean Grove Citizens Patrol, Shore Action League, former Ocean Grove Preservation Society Auxiliary and Madonna House.
Survived by Patricia G. Swantek and her children Matthew and Cara, and her fianc Mark Kavulich, Terence Gorman, his wife Peggy Cafferty and children Keeley and Conall, Mary McCoy, her husband Matt and children Casey and his wife Maura and daughter Finley, Molly Fisher, her husband Duncan and Reilly McCoy, Timothy Gorman and his sons, Aiden and Brady.
She was so happy to reach her goals of turning 90 and meeting a great grandchild. Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life, on August 3, 2018 at 11AM in The Garden Room at Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls. All who knew her are welcome to attend.
