Marianne Nostrand

Marianne Nostrand, 85, of Ocean Grove, died peacefully Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Manor by the Sea Nursing Home. Marianne was born in Germany to Georg and Paula Rimmler. In 1957 she married Joseph M. Nostrand and assumed the life of a military spouse, living on bases in Alaska, North Carolina and then settling in New Jersey. In her early life she was a hair stylist and after her children were grown, she worked as an LPN at the Willows Rest Home and the Eatontown Conva Center. She lived in Wanamassa for many years and enjoyed babysitting the children of her friends and neighbors. Marianne is predeceased by her husband Joseph. She is survived by her four children: daughter Gabriele and son in law Thomas Siedlarczyk, of Ocean; son Michael and daughter in law Cheryl Nostrand, of Virginia; daughter Deb Moore, of Pensacola; daughter Annemarie Nostrand, of Ocean. She has four grandchildren: Kelly, Christopher, Jordan and Chelsea. She is also survived by her brother Dieter Rimmler, of Germany, and his two daughters. Services will be private.
