Margaret Joan Stanford

Margaret Joan Stanford age 80, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. "Peggy" was born in Malta, Montana and lived in Middletown, NJ for the past 42 years. She left Malta after high school and moved to Seattle, where she eventually met and married her husband, Kirk Stanford. They moved to Charleston, South Carolina for a few years before finally settling in Middletown. She worked at Waterford/Wedgewood for 15 years before retiring in 1998. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, day trips to Atlantic City, spending time with her granddaughter, Nicole, and watching her play sports. She is predeceased by her husband, Kirk Elliot Stanford, who died in 2014. Surviving is her son, Dirk Stanford, his wife, Sophia and granddaughter Nicole. Private family gathering will be held.
