Margaret Reamer

Margaret M. Reamer, age 87, of Brick Township passed away at home with her family by her side on Saturday February 3, 2018. Margaret was born in Newark, NJ on March 30, 1931 to the late Matthew and Mary Lee. Margaret took pride in being a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and was an excellent cook. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband the late Louis E Reamer and by her daughter Susan Van Benthuysen. She is survived by her children Michael Reamer of Edgewater FL, Judy Egan (David) of Manasquan, and Nancy Trione of Brick. She was very proud of her six grandchildren: Michael Van Benthuysen and his wife Christina, Alachua FL, Jessica, Alyson and Emily Trione, Brick NJ, Brendan Perry, Jacksonville, FL and Nolan Egan, Manasquan, NJ. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1030 on Saturday February 10 in St. Marthas Church, Point Pleasant. Interment will follow at Atlantic View Cemetery in Manasquan. Arrangements have been made through Jersey Shore Cremation Services, 36 Broad Street, Manasquan, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of St. Martha or Memorial Sloan Kettering in support of breast cancer.
