Marg spent over twenty years teaching grammar school as a Benedictine nun. After leaving the convent she continued teaching at St. Rose grammar school in Belmar. Marg's main goal in life was to care for and help others. She achieved her goal many times over with family, friends, and complete strangers. Marg followed the Benedictine tradition of putting the common good before herself.
Aunt Marg loved her many nieces and nephews: Dean, Colleen, Leo, Chari, Cynthia, Suzanne, Aimee, Suzie, Jackie, Jim, and Emmett. Their numerous family pictures are proudly and prominently displayed in her home. She also had her succession of beloved dogs. Marg was most content when sitting back in her recliner with either Whiskers, McGee, or Scooter on her lap.
Her family thanks the many caregivers, nurses, and doctors who provided comfort to Marg during her final days. Marg was blessed with wonderful friends and neighbors. They will always be remembered for their generosity and kindness.
