Margaret Resetar Kundrat

Margaret Resetar was born on March 2nd, 1923 in Bayonne, NJ to parents Andrew Resetar and Helen Guzi Resetar.

Margaret passed away from natural causes in her sleep on July 12, 2026. She was 103 years old

She graduated from Bayonne High School and worked for the US Trust Company in Manhattan, NY for a number of years. She used to joke about how her commute from Bayonne to Manhattan cost eighteen cents way back then.

As someone who always admired and appreciated fashion, she eventually moved on to work for Lord and Taylor until her retirement.

Margaret married Michael Kundrat on April 30, 1949, in Bayonne NJ.

The couple eventually settled in Ridgewood, NJ and lived there until her husband passed away in January 1998.

Margaret remained in Ridgewood until she moved to Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls, NJ, in 2001.

She was a serious bridge player and an avid reader. She was someone who usually had several books stacked near her chair and they were never the same from week to week.

Margaret will be remembered for her smile, upbeat attitude, and sense of humor.

She is survived by a collection of nieces and nephews scattered from coast to coast.
