Lou Ann Zimmerman

Lou Ann Gessner Zimmerman, 60, of Manasquan, passed away on Wednesday December 30, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Lou Ann was born and raised in Morristown, NJ. She graduated Chestnut Hill College, PA with a degree in Art History. She later attended and graduated Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, becoming a registered nurse. Lou Ann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also an avid gardener. She had compassion for all around her and she centered her life around family. Lou Ann is survived by her husband, Steven; her sons, Steven, Richard, and John. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nathan and Lydia. Memorial Celebration to be announced by family In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Monmouth Food Bank or St. Jude Children's Research Hospitales are private.
