Loretto Cahill Armstrong

Loretto Cahill Armstrong passed away at home on October 11, 2014. Mrs. Armstrong was born in Keyport, and always considered it to be her home. She graduated Keyport High School and continued her education, graduating from St. Peter's University School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She was employed as a nurse by the Keyport School System for many years before retiring. Loretto is predeceased by her husband George Conover Armstrong, also her daughters; Gretchen A. Howley and Barbara A. Haupt, as well as her beloved brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Heidi and James Gorhan of Keyport, her son Lloyd F. Armstrong of Dunedin, FL, her grandsons; Stephen C. Haupt, Trevor A. Haupt, James A. Gorhan, Aron J. Gorhan and many cherished nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that you remember Loretto with a smile. Interment will be held in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent, NJ
