Lois Korkiner Goetz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Lois Korkiner Goetz. Lois, 82, of Toms River passed away on June 26, 2024 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Lois was born on July 29,1941 and spent her life spreading love and kindness to all those around her. Tragically, Lois Korkiner Goetz had to endure the loss of her loving husband Louis Goetz who passed away on June 8, 2024. Despite her heartache, she remained strong and resilient, finding solace in the memories they shared together. She will be remembered for her warm smile, compassionate nature and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a pillar of strength and a source of comfort to all who knew her. Her legacy of love and selflessness will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Lois had a zest for life and a passion for simple pleasures. Lois found solace and happiness at the beach where she would watch the waves and feel the sand between her toes. Lois also found joy in movement and music, often attending Zumba classes with a smile on her face. The outdoors held a special place in her heart where she lovingly tended to her plants and flowers. Her green thumb was a testament to her nurturing and caring nature. Lois lived her life with her favorite motto in mind "The best thing in life is finding someone who knows all of your flaws, mistakes, and weaknesses and still thinks you're completely amazing!"

In her final days, Lois was surrounded by her loved ones, who provided her with the care and support she needed. She peacefully passed away, leaving behind a profound impact on all who were touched by her presence.

Lois Korkiner Goetz is survived by her son Walter Korkiner, grandchildren and host of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Although Lois is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to guide us and inspire us to live our lives with the same love and generosity that she displayed. Rest in peace dear Lois Korkiner Goetz, you will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
