Lillian Patricia Grillo

Lillian Grillo, 78, of Brick, NJ passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025.

Lillian was born on March 14, 1947 in Jersey City, NJ to Lena and Joseph Grillo. After graduating from Dickenson H.S. in Jersey City, Lillian went on to pursue a career in the business world, working at Alexandria Navigation (NYC) Ltd. as an executive assistant. Lillian was passionate about cooking, loved old movies, and all music. She loved spending time with family and friends. Lillian was known for her kindness, generosity, and most of all her love of family. She cared for and was devoted to caring for her parents and her brother Thomas.

She was a loving sister to Anthony, Camille (Thrunk) and Thomas, and was preceded in death by her mother Lena (Ippolito), her father Joseph and her brother Douglas. She is survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. Lillian loved life, her family, and her many friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Affinity Hospice for their compassionate care.

The funeral service will be held on June 18th at 10 am at St. Dominic R.C. Church, Brick, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Affinity Hospice in Brick, NJ in Lillian’s memory.

Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manansquan, NJ.
