Lilliam Gonzalez

Lilliam "Lilly" Gonzalez passed away at Bayshore Health Care Center in Holmdel on Monday November 3, 2014. She was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and moved to Brooklyn at the age of 13. She graduated Bronx Community College with her AS in Nursing and later earned her BSN from Rutgers School of Nursing. She worked at East Orange General Hospital for 20+ years. She then resided in Manalapan and Marlboro for several years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with family. She was predeceased by her father, Dr. Adrian Gutierrez, step-father, Dr. L. Lester Beacher, and mother, Eugenia Beacher. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Claudio Gonzalez, her sister Flora Saenz of Gainesville FL, 3 daughters, Jennifer Cook and her husband Jeffrey of Ocean Twp., Christine Scott and her husband Jeffrey of Long Beach CA, and Tracey Selvaggio and her husband Cameron of Lancaster, PA, also 3 grandsons, Ryan and Justin Cook and Mackinley Scott. Friends and family are invited to pay respects on Friday November 7th from 6-8 pm at Jennifer and Jeffrey's house at 1124 Darlene Ave, Ocean Twp., NJ. 07712 A formal service and private interment will be held at a later date.
