Lardina G. Hilaire

Lardina G. Hilaire (nee McElrath), age 60, of Westampton, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the home of her daughter, Tanoka. She was born on October 27, 1953 to George and Josefine McElrath. She graduated from Neptune High School in 1972. She loved animals and often visited the animal shelter and spending time in her yard gardening and traveling. She is predeceased by her husband Edward P. Hilaire and her father George W. McElrath, Sr. She is survived by her children Kitab Ismail (DeLacey), Tanoka Ismail, Alfredo Soto (Lauren) and step-son Eric Hilaire; grandchildren Brittany Rogers, Sir, Faith and Xavier Ismail, Kareem and Ka'Zhana Jordan Davis, Jamal Bland, Najee Height, Donovan, Naomi, Aaliya and Marisa Soto; her mother Josefine McElrath, sisters Gisela Eaton (Van), Barbara Jones (Curtis) and brother George McElrath (Adrienne); a great number of family members, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; her special buddies, Harmoine and Thor who were always by her side.Services are private. Donations may be made in her name at your local ASPCA. A Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
