Kim Scarpulla

Kimberly Brooke Scarpulla age 56, died peacefully on March 2, 2017 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Kim was born on February 4, 1961 in Lakewood to Betty and Sam Scarpulla. Kim was a professional casino dealer, and a seasonal taxi driver for many years around the shore. Kim had an enormous heart and unmatchable compassion for everyone she met. She had an undying love for nature and animals, and could generate a smile or laugh from anyone in her presence. She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all Kim is predeceased by her mother Betty Scarpulla Smith , her father Salvatore “Sam” Scarpulla, her brother Jeff Scarpulla, and nephew Thomas Scarpulla Kim is survived by her husband, Russell Gillen, her children Garett Linderman, his wife Megan and their son Gavin, Kevin Clark and his partner Alexis Isasi, and Ashley Gillen, also her brother Bruce Scarpulla, his wife Karen and their children, her brother Brian Scarpulla, his wife Doreen and their children, and brother Tracy Scarpulla A Celebration of Life for Kim will be held 1 PM Saturday, March 11th at Manasquan First Aid Building, 65 Broad St. Manasquan. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family for a scholarship in the name of Ashley Gillen.
